The goal of this workshop is to improve the number, quality and compatibility of European OBSs by finding or creating common projects and better ways to communicate. Technicians and engineers from all European OBS facilities are invited to participate.

The workshop is sponsored by the European EPOS initiative (European Plate Observing System). EPOS is helping OBS parks to put their waveform data onto FDSN-compatible data centers through EIDA nodes within ORFEUS. EPOS can support travel and lodging for one person from each facility.
